U.K. CITIZEN SENTENCED TO 30 MONTHS PRISON FOR
POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

TUCSON – Anthony David Hibble, 48, of London, was sentenced here today to 30 months in prison, by U.S. District Judge Aspen. Hibble had pleaded guilty on September 26, 2006 to possession of child pornography.

Anthony David Hibble had been charged with violating a federal law prohibiting the knowing possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors which had moved in interstate commerce. Hibble’s possession of the child pornography resulted from the use of a computer and included prepubescent children. Hibble possessed more than 600 digital images and/or movies.

After completing his sentence, Hibble will be deported to the United Kingdom.

The investigation in this case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution was handled by David P. Flannigan, Assistant U.S. Attorney, District of Arizona, Tucson, Ariz..
