FBI SEEKS GILBERT BANK ROBBER Acting Special Agent in Charge, Keith Bennett, announced today, March 7, 2006, that the FBI is seeking the public's assistance to identify the individual responsible for robbing a Gilbert bank in the 1000 block of East Baseline Road. At approximately 9:11 am this morning, a white male, dressed in a gray t-shirt and a tan or olive hat, robbed a Gilbert bank by threatening employees with a hand gun. The robber was described as having a brown goatee and mustache, 5' 10" in height, 160 lbs, with an athletic build and is believed to be in the age range of mid 20s to early 30s. Additionally, the robber was observed fleeing the area in a dark blue or black Volkswagen, 4-door sedan. Armed bank robbery is a violent crime, and the public should use caution and contact the FBI, 602-279-5511, or call 911, with any information concerning this individual. |
