CHILD SEXUAL PREDATOR IS BEING SOUGHT BY THE FBI
Special Agent in Charge of the FBI, Phoenix Division, John E. Lewis, announced today, September 27, 2006, that the FBI, and the Navajo Nation Police Department is seeking the public’s attention and assistance concerning an unsolved child sexual assault investigation.
On February 07, 2005, a 14 year old female was attacked while walking to Ganado Middle School. As the young teen walked past the transportation building on school property, an unknown Navajo male accosted her with a knife. As this male began to sexually assault the young teen, she was able to break free from her assailant and escape the attack.
The subject in this incident was described as a Navajo male, approximately 40 years old, with a scar on his left cheek, and a tattoo of a snake on his right hand; the snake’s mouth is open between the index finger and the thumb.
